Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a major infrastructure PMO in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the commercial evaluation of tender submissions, including quantity and cost assessment.
- Prepare, review, and validate project budgets and cost estimates once design packages are issued.
- Review and verify designer BOQs (priced and unpriced), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Lead and support the PMCM Quantity Surveying team in finalizing BOQ remeasurements at all stages.
- Review Interim Payment Applications (IPAs / IPCs) after PMCM checks, focusing on quantities, measurement, and valuation logic.
- Support evaluation of Change Orders, variations, and claims, including quantity take-offs and cost impact assessment.
- Prepare high-level cost estimates for variations, confidential studies, and ad-hoc client requests.
- Assist in developing and updating program-level cash flow forecasts.
- Review significant quantities related to client-driven changes (e.g. fill materials, bridge cladding, landscaping).
- Coordinate with PMCM commercial teams to ensure alignment and quality of submissions.
- Support workshops with designers on quantity take-off methodology and BOQ structure.
- Provide independent cost advice to the client as required.
Experience & Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years' experience, preferably on major infrastructure or roads projects.
- Strong pre- and post-contract QS experience.
- Experience in PMO / PMC / client-side roles strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel and cost-analysis capability.
- GCC / KSA experience.
