Position Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and mobility
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence
Build positive relationships with residents through companionship and attentive care
Respond promptly and appropriately to resident needs and call lights
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs
Accurately document care provided according to facility policies and procedures
Review shift reports and care assignments to promote continuity of care
Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living and care areas
Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
