At Omni Fiber, we're building the infrastructure that connects communities-and we're looking for a Systems & Applications Administrator to help power the platforms behind it all. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing our hybrid infrastructure across Linux, Windows, virtualization, and containerized environments to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable systems that support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support Linux and Windows server environments
Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker
Maintain virtualization platforms including Proxmox and VMware
Administer PostgreSQL and MariaDB databases
Perform system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and security hardening
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Monitor system and application performance
Configure reverse proxies, load balancers, and SSL/TLS certificates
Automate operational processes and maintain documentation
Participate in on-call rotation as required

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
8+ years of systems administration or infrastructure operations experience
Strong Linux and Windows Server administration skills
Production experience with Kubernetes and virtualization platforms
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code
Strong networking and security fundamentals
