Salary and Benefits

Primary Duties

  • Planning and implementing practice sessions;
  • Providing input and other coaching related duties for home and away games and events;
  • Recruiting qualified, prospective student-athletes as allowed by NCAA rules (NCAA Coaching Certification module must be passed annually);
  • Analyze video of team and opponents;
  • Assist with team travel arrangements, such as transportation, hotels, and meals;
  • Assist with planning and implementing camps and clinics in the respective sport;
  • Assist with the oversight of the student-athletes academic achievement;
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Athletic Director

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Valid Driver’s License required and an MVR will be conducted for driving university vehicles
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work within a team environment
  • Ability to work with people in fast paced environment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Collegiate softball playing experience preferred

Working Conditions

Normal office environment.  Nights, weekends and travel are required for this year-round position.
