Your Role at Sana Lake

Sana Lake is expanding rapidly and is seeking a Substance Use Counselor passionate about helping individuals and families recover!

The Substance Use Counselor will be responsible for performing a wide variety of member care activities as directed by the Program Director. They will have a caseload and shall provide services that include individual and group counseling. The Substance Use Counselor may conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments and develop an interpretive summary from the information gathered in the assessment. They will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning. The Substance Use Counselor has the responsibility of maintaining communication between treatment team members, family, referral sources, and other service providers as needed.

We would love to learn more about you if you:

  • A high school diploma (or GED)
  • Experience working in the field of substance use and/or mental health 
  • Certification as a qualified Substance Use Disorder Counselor by the Missouri Credentialing Board (Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor II (MAADC II) and Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC))
