Commercial Carpenter
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience

Our Commercial Carpenter role focuses on rebuilding, repairing, and restoring residential and commercial structures that have suffered damage from disasters like fires, floods, storms, or mold growth. It combines structural demolition, rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation, and project coordination.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Complete assigned repair jobs for residential and commercial properties via a work order generated by Project Manager
- Communicate job progress with Estimators, Project Directors, Production Manager and/or CoordinatorsÂ
- Complete measurements and calculate size and amount of material needed on assigned jobsÂ
- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials on assigned jobsÂ
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframesÂ
- Complete drywall projectsÂ
- Clean up assigned job sites; may be doing a days’ worth of work on different job sites
- May be traveling to more than one job site per day
- Check work throughout the project to ensure it is up to code and specificationsÂ
- Responsible for recording your time and coding it to the appropriate jobs Â
Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Â
- Must be in possession of personal Tools
- Knowledge of finish carpentry, framing, structural work, drywall, and trim carpentryÂ
- Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad)Â
- Communication skills via phone and face to faceÂ
- Math skills in order to accurately measure materials and budget materials within estimatesÂ
- Mechanical skills to work with various tools and machinesÂ
- Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems:Â RMS, TSheets
- Ability to work safely with hand and power toolsÂ
- Ability to maintain an acceptable Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
Required Education and ExperienceÂ
- High School Diploma or GED requiredÂ
- 2 plus years’ experience in the construction/repair industry as a Tradesman/Carpenter Â
Preferred Education and Experience
- 2 plus years’ experience in finish carpentry workÂ
- Experience with roofing Â
Physical RequirementÂ
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle.
- Constantly positions self to move about job sites, stairs, walkways, roofs, crawl spaces
- Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to complete jobsÂ
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers and internal employees over the phone and face to faceÂ
- Frequently will lift up to 60lb.

This position will require up to 100% local travel to jobs sites (as needed).Â
