Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment, Diesel, or Construction Equipment Technician looking for a shop you can put your diagnostic and repair skills to work?

We are growing our service team in Allentown, PA and are looking for a skilled technician who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of construction and industrial equipment.

This is a shop-based position working on everything from compact construction equipment and skid steers to aerial equipment, heavy equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery. If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and seeing a repair through from diagnosis to completion, we'd like to talk with you!

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually (dependent on experience)

What You'll Do:

  • Diagnose, Troubleshoot, Repair, Service, Inspect, and Maintain a variety of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems.
  • Use schematics, service manuals, diagnostic tools, and computer systems to identify and resolve equipment problems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment set-up.
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Communicate repair findings and recommendations with service and management teams.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized shop environment.
  • Work independently while also collaborating with other experienced technicians and service team members.
  • Participate in paid manufacturer and industry training to continue developing your technical skills.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Looking for a Full-time position, 40-50 hours per week.
  • Expecting Limited weekends (typically 1 Saturday a month during peak season).
  • Has experience with any combination of diesel engine and combustion systems, hydraulic systems, DC electrical systems and diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, welding and fabricating, computerized diagnostic tools, reading electrical and hydraulic schematics, service manuals and technical documentation, construction, heavy, aerial, agricultural, industrial, or fleet equipment
  • Has strong previous experience with heavy equipment or as a diesel technician
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent industry experience
  • Is dependable, mechanically strong, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently while being a positive member of the service team.
