This opportunity arises as a senior spine surgeon transitions toward reduced clinical hours, providing an immediate and steady flow of both established and new patients. We are a highly respected, multi-specialty orthopaedic group committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Our comprehensive spine program integrates surgical and non-surgical care, with close collaboration among pain management, chiropractic, non-operative spine specialists, and physical/occupational therapy—all under one roof. This position offers a unique opportunity to: Join a well-established and growing spine program Work alongside experienced orthopaedic and pain management specialists Help develop and expand an outpatient spine surgery program in partnership with an ambulatory surgical center Contribute to practice growth and service line development Call Structure: No emergency room call required Backup call only, supported by physician assistants handling first call Additional Opportunities: Accelerated partnership track for experienced candidates Passive income streams (DME, PT/OT, ambulatory surgical center) Lucrative opportunities through legal work and independent medical evaluations The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical excellence, strong surgical skills, and an interest in program development and practice growth.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with spinal conditions, including degenerative disorders, trauma, deformities, and other spine-related pathologies Perform a full range of spinal surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and complex spine surgeries Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating surgical and conservative care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pain management, physical therapy, radiology, and orthopaedic subspecialties Provide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation Participate in on-call coverage and hospital rounding as required Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations Contribute to growth of the spine service line through outreach and referral development Adhere to all clinical, ethical, and professional standards Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery or Neurosurgery Completion of an accredited residency program Fellowship training in Spine Surgery Active or eligibility for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license DEA registration (or eligibility) Ability to obtain hospital privileges Preferred Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment and surgical expertise Experience with minimally invasive and advanced spine techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Interest or experience in program development and practice growth Experience in a multi-specialty group setting Commitment to quality improvement and patient satisfaction Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods during surgical procedures Manual dexterity and precision for surgical tasks Ability to lift and position patients, with assistance as appropriate Equal Opportunity Statement OAA Orthopaedic Specialists is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.   Qualifications
