Job DetailsJob Location: Hyatt Place Hyatt House Lehigh Valley - Allentown, PA 18106We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to assist the Restaurant Director with all aspects of our business. You must have an eye for detail, hold a high level of technological knowledge and performance, and enjoy working with and leading others.  To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and experience in both the front and back of the house. You must know how to oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and balance seating capacity.  Previous bar management experience is required for this role. We expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills with a proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment.  Basic food safety understanding and practice.  Flexible and long hours required; required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the business. Availability to work holiday, nights and weekends.  Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Micros POS and Open Table.  Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing.  Job descriptions and responsibilities are subject to change depending on business needs.
