Position Overview
This position will serve as a key member of the automation team, combining technical expertise, project management, field deployment, and sales/project ownership responsibilities.

Examples include:
Assisting with AMR/AGV programming, setup, training, and deployment.
Supporting programming, controls, and system logic.
Assisting with installation and commissioning.
Providing technical support for existing or newly installed automation systems.
Assisting with troubleshooting and field support.
Supporting another team member's project management activities.
Participating in customer meetings or site visits as a technical resource.
Assisting with project design, implementation, testing, or acceptance.
Providing general technical expertise to help another team member successfully execute a project.
The intent is to encourage collaboration across the group while maintaining a clear distinction between commissionable project ownership and team-based technical/project support.
Providing significant assistance to another team member's project does not, by itself, convert that project into a commissionable project for the employee.

Primary Responsibilities
The employee's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

AMR/AGV Systems
Assist with AMR and AGV system design, implementation, programming, training, and deployment.
Support customer and internal training associated with autonomous equipment.
Assist with mapping, configuration, testing, commissioning, and system optimization.
Â
Programming & Controls
Assist with programming and logic controls associated with automated systems.
Support integration between automation equipment, controls, sensors, conveyors, robotics, AMRs/AGVs, and related technologies.
Troubleshoot automation and controls-related issues as required.
Â
Installation & Deployment
Participate in the installation and commissioning of both existing and new automated systems.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal personnel during project implementation.
Provide onsite technical and project support when required.
Â
Project Management
Serve as the primary project manager for projects assigned directly to the employee.
Â
Manage project schedules, customer communication, vendor coordination, installation, commissioning, documentation, and project closeout.
Â
Maintain responsibility for the financial performance and successful execution of personally managed projects.
Â
Assist other team members with their projects when technical expertise, field support, or additional project management resources are required.
Sales & Business Development
Â
Identify and develop automation opportunities with new and existing customers.
Work with customers to determine appropriate automation solutions.
Â
Develop projects independently when opportunities are directly generated by the employee.
Support other team members during the sales process when technical expertise is required.
