Location: Allentown, Scranton
Position Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)
Pay Range:Â Starting Salary $60,000 to $70,000 per year based on experience
Ready to take off the heavy tool belt and step into an inspection and evaluation role? We are seeking an experienced Construction Specialist with a strong background in exterior building systems to join our team full-time as a Field Inspector.
If you have hands-on experience in trade work—especially roofing—and want to transition your technical expertise into diagnosing, evaluating, and documenting property conditions, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough physical inspections of residential and commercial properties, with a primary focus on exterior construction and roofing systems.
- Safely climb ladders, walk roofs, and navigate exterior structures to evaluate wear, damage, and installation quality.
- Perform basic interior assessments on residential and commercial structures to identify visible damage, moisture intrusion, or structural concerns.
- Write detailed, accurate inspection reports and document findings with photo evidence using standard reporting tools.
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to property owners, team leaders, and project managers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Roofing & Exterior Experience: Direct hands-on experience in roofing (shingle, metal, tile, flat roofs) and exterior residential construction (siding, gutters, flashing, framing).
- General Construction Knowledge: Good working understanding of interior residential and commercial building components.
- Physical Capabilities: Comfortable working at heights, setting up ladders, and walking pitches on multi-story roofs safely.
- Licensing: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (mVR check required).
- Professionalism: Strong communication skills, reliability, and an eye for detail.
Schedule & Benefits
- Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (No weekend work required).
- Competitive Compensation: $60k - $70k annually starting
