Active Learning Centers is an award winning, family owned, Child Care looking for excellent teachers for our Preschool / Pre K program. We believe in fostering creativity and hands on experiences and learning for children to run, play, and explore in a nurturing and safe environment. We love what we do and love to have fun while doing it!  Part-Time Teacher positions available. 2:30pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday.Â
Competitive Teacher Pay:Â $15-18
All applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 18 years of age, and a clear background check.

Your Responsibilities:
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)Â
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
- Planning for daily outdoor and gross motor play
- Daily communication with parents and a high level of customer service
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Monthly staff meetings
Do you have?Â
- Proven experience as a Teacher (Pre School experience is a plus)
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
