This is a fully onsite position based out of one of two sites.Ā

Ā How will you make an impact?Ā
The Procurement Sourcing Specialist IIIĀ isĀ responsible forĀ sourcing and securing materials and services for theĀ Clinical Trials Division (CTD). This is a service position and is adaptable to the needs of internal andĀ external (suppliers)Ā customers.Ā
Ā
What will you do?Ā Ā
IdentifyĀ risk and implement new sources of material and services to minimize financial and operational risk to the business.Ā
Perform all functions needed to ensure the lowest total cost ofĀ purchasedĀ materials and services for a site.Ā
Participates in negotiations and commodity teams to implement proactive procurement philosophies, strategies, policies, and procedures for successful integration into multiple business plans across various corporate departments.Ā
Prepare data and analyze inventory trends, external and internal key performance metrics, and proposing process improvement and the generation or management of key reports, metrics, and projects.Ā
Key Responsibilities:Ā
Maintain continuous material availability and minimize inventory.Ā
Negotiate availability and cost of materials from external suppliers. Solicit quotations for materials and services, analyze bids for specification compliance, pricing, delivery commitments, and evaluate the sources to ensure they can sustain providing secure supply chain model.Ā
Lead cost savings projects and work with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings to completion.Ā
Handle supplier relationships,Ā monitoringĀ supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Ā
Handle supplier relationships, looking for new innovative solutions and products to cement supply chain flexibility.Ā
Always support supplier risk mitigationĀ activitiesĀ working on highlighting risk to the organization and implementing long term and short-term strategies to avoid revenue risk to the company.Ā
Support New Product Introduction activities by sourcing raw materials that meet customerĀ specification.Ā
Participate inĀ purchasingĀ performance metrics,Ā reportingĀ andĀ improvementĀ opportunities.Ā
Support continuous improvement and operational excellence processes.Ā
Complete specialĀ projects asĀ assigned and provide manager support asĀ required.Ā
This position may beĀ requiredĀ to perform other related duties asĀ requiredĀ and/or assigned.Ā

Education:Ā
Minimum Required Education: Bachelorās degree in related fieldĀ
Ā
Experience:
4 or more years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain
Prior experience in sourcing new materials to mitigate supply chain risk preferredĀ
Experience in planning, manufacturing, quality, or engineering subject areas desiredĀ
Proven negotiating experience and resultsĀ required
LogisticsĀ and cold chain experienceĀ is a must
Ā
Knowledge,Ā SkillsĀ and Abilities:Ā
MRP knowledge and ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of procurement processes and strategic supplier managementĀ required
Ability to lead project execution of cost saving,Ā sourcingĀ and inventory management programsĀ
Proven negotiating experience and resultsĀ required
ISO or equivalent system and change control (FDA, cGMP) experience preferredĀ
Operational Environment knowledge desired
ComputerĀ proficiencyĀ requiredĀ in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Anticipate needs and problems while creating solutions

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $83,300.00ā$111,100.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
