What You’ll Be Doing

  • Based in the Allentown, PA; not a remote role

  • Lead regional heavy construction fleet and mobile equipment operations to ensure safety, reliability, and cost efficiency across business lines

  • Develop and execute a 5-year replacement/rebuild strategy for yellow iron equipment

  • Partner with General Managers and Operations Managers to align equipment decisions with business goals

  • Strategic development and implementation of maintenance programs aligned with corporate and manufacturing standards

  • Evaluate outsourcing opportunities and contractor partnerships for equipment services

  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and other safety/environmental standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10 years of experience in heavy equipment fleet management, preferably in construction or mining

  • Strong understanding of yellow iron equipment (loaders, haul trucks, bulldozers, excavators) and DOT compliance

  • Strategic thinker with solid data analysis skills and experience using SAP, Equip Check, and Excel (pivot tables)

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements

  • Demonstrated capability in budget management and cost control

Work Environment

  • This role involves a mix of office and field work across multiple sites within the region. Travel is required to support operational needs and team engagement.
