IMPORTANT NOTICE – INCUMBENT-ONLY POSITION
This position is only open to current employees supporting the FOMSS II Contract.  Applications from individuals who are not currently incumbents on this contract will not be considered.

Systems Architect

· Develop architecture and migration strategies for legacy BAS systems and technologies.

· Evaluate existing BAS infrastructure and develop modernization, upgrade, and lifecycle-replacement plans.

· Design reliable and scalable BAS network architectures, including communication pathways, segmentation, and system interfaces.

· Coordinate BAS architecture with enterprise IT, cybersecurity, network engineering, facilities engineering, and operations teams.

· Provide technical direction for BAS system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and new construction projects.

· Establish standards for BAS graphics, programming, naming conventions, databases, alarms, trends, points, and system configurations.

· Review engineering designs, technical specifications, drawings, sequences of operation, and contractor submittals for compliance with BAS architecture requirements.

· Analyze system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, energy efficiency, maintainability, and operational effectiveness.

· Develop system interfaces and data integrations between BAS platforms and enterprise systems, including data historians, analytics platforms, dashboards, and facility management systems.
