IMPORTANT NOTICE – INCUMBENT-ONLY POSITION
This position is only open to current employees supporting the FOMSS II Contract.  Applications from individuals who are not currently incumbents on this contract will not be considered.

The Systems Engineer/Energy Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and improving the performance of Building Automation Systems, HVAC equipment, utility systems, and building energy consumption. This position uses BAS data, engineering principles, energy analytics, and system performance information to identify opportunities for improved reliability, energy efficiency, operational performance, and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze BAS data to evaluate HVAC, utility, and building system performance.

· Monitor and analyze energy consumption for electricity, chilled water, hot water, natural gas, and other utilities.

· Identify energy-saving opportunities through analysis of equipment operation, schedules, setpoints, sequences, and control strategies.

· Develop energy-performance reports, dashboards, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

· Analyze BAS trends to identify abnormal equipment operation, excessive energy consumption, and system inefficiencies.

· Evaluate HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air-handling units, pumps, fans, cooling towers, VAV systems, and associated controls.
