Client Support Aide (PT) Bacon CS CAG

Location:  Bacon CS CAG | 1835 W. 12^th St., Alma

Hourly Rate:  $15.08

Job Description:  Assists with adult client one on one enrolled in a day program with daily life, social and academic skills and/or behavior management training. Observes and monitors client’s behavior and charts observations and incidents. Serves as role model and provides emotional support and feedback to client & their support system.

Anticipated Schedule:  Will work Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 2 PM.

Competencies:  Ability to observe and monitor program participants’ behavior; ability to redirect behavioral outbursts; ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills; ability to work flexible hours; ability to participate in supportive guidance.  Must be proficient with computers.

Required Minimum Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent, and six months social services experience. Valid driver’s license with 6 points or fewer. Must be at least 21 years of age with three years driving experience (per policy) to provide transportation. Experience with developmentally delayed population preferred.
