We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our clinic team at Harlan County Health System. You’ll play a vital role in caring for patients of all ages — assisting with exams, administering medications, and providing education that empowers patients and families. What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, education, and documentation in the EHR.Â
- Assist with exams, procedures, and treatments as directed by the provider.Â
- Administer medications and immunizations safely and accurately.Â
- Monitor and report patient symptoms, responses, and progress.Â
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and fellow team members for coordinated care.Â
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and medications.Â
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.Â
- Support efficient clinic operations and participate in quality improvement efforts.

Requirements
 What We’re Looking For
- Current Nebraska RN or LPN license (Medical Assistant certification may be considered).Â
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.Â
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Â
- Prior clinical experience preferred but not required — we’ll train the right person!Â
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
 Physical & Working Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).Â
- Direct patient contact in a clinical setting with potential exposure to bodily fluids.Â
- Must follow infection control and safety protocols.
