The Accountant Associate plays a key part in keeping our financial engine running smoothly, from accounts payable/receivable to financial reporting, and everything in between. You’ll work directly with experienced managers and gain exposure to a wide range of business processes. What You’ll Do:Â
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll take the lead and assist on a variety of accounting functions and play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations:
- Owns the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts: identify variances, document activity, and research practical solutions.
- Help with the preparation of financial statements and other regulatory compliance with clear support documentation.
- Onboard vendor & customer accounts including managing tax exemptions and verifying compliance requirements.
- Manage employee credit card activity and ensure timely, accurate expense report submissions.
- Develop insightful financial variance analysis to help leadership make informed decisions.
- Track and report on promotional/spiff/co-op programs for clarity and ROI.
What You’ll Have:
- We’re looking for someone who’s as sharp with numbers as they are with communication and collaboration:
- Working Knowledge -Microsoft Excel Skills (e.g. lookups, matching, sumifs, and pivot tables)
- Clear, professional communication — both written and verbal
- A proactive, analytical mindset for solving challenges as they arise
- Stellar time management with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines like a pro
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) a plus.
- A relevant internship or up to one year of accounting experience
