The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role works closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures. The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting efficient cash management.

What you will be doing:Â
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval.
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure correct documentation prior to payment.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and update vendor information as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies or payment inquiries.
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end closing activities including processing invoices for the prior period.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and documentation.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.Â
Skills You Bring:Â
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting role preferred
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles
