As a Bartender, you play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by preparing high-quality cocktails and beverages with accuracy, efficiency, and care. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment while consistently following established recipes and service standards. Beyond the bar, you contribute to each guest’s overall dining experience through attentive, gracious service and by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace that reflects the excellence Ray’s at Killer Creek is known for.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth, creating an inviting bar and lounge experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and menu items, offering thoughtful recommendations.
  • Accurately take and prepare food and beverage orders, ensuring timely and consistent delivery
  • Verify guest identification and responsibly serve alcohol in accordance with state laws and company policies
  • Use suggestive selling techniques in a natural, hospitality-driven way to enhance the guest experience
  • Build genuine, professional rapport with guests while maintaining a polished presence behind the bar

  • Ensure alcohol is consumed only in approved areas and monitor guest consumption responsibly
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side work to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar
  • Work collaboratively with service and culinary teams to support smooth, seamless service
  • Participate in ongoing training, review shift notes, attend meetings, and consistently uphold company standards and policies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic restaurant schedule.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs., bend, climb, and reach overhead.
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in service, mixology and order taking.
