Job Summary

HP Indigo’s business success is strongly impacted by managing its Media & Materials partner ecosystem, which supplies externally produced media and application materials essential for application range, cost control, quality, availability, and time to market. This partnership is crucial for structural cost savings, sustained growth, and innovation across multiple segments.

A strategic, technical, collaborative, and market‑facing leader responsible for the global Media & Materials partner ecosystem for HP Indigo. This role builds on the foundational supplier‑partner and certification model to expand Indigo’s addressable markets, enable sustained print volumes, and unlock future applications. The role secures revenue, cost savings, and long‑term market access across Commercial and Labels & Packaging.

Job Description:

Core Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of materials, substrates, suppliers, and applications across Commercial and Labels & Packaging
  • Expertise in partner ecosystems, certification frameworks, and materials governance

Strategic Impact

  • Build and evolve global supplier partnerships that enable sales, drive growth, and open new market segments
  • Own revenue‑generating and value‑creating models (e.g., primer royalties, partner‑enabled cost avoidance)
  • Enable future market access initiatives (e.g., paper pouches, retort applications)

Execution

  • Govern and continuously evolve the Media & Materials certification framework
  • Integrate partners into Indigo’s product roadmap and strategic business initiatives
  • Solve complex, cross‑regional material and application challenges at scale

Collaboration

  • Act as the connective layer between R&D, Product, Sales, Operations, Sustainability, and global partners
  • Align customer and application requirements with Indigo technology capabilities

Impact & Scope

  • Global ownership impacting multiple regions and business units
  • Protects and enables ~$3.5M+ annually through royalties, cost avoidance, and structural savings, while securing future growth

Complexity

  • Leads innovation in highly regulated, evolving markets
  • Solves non‑standard, high‑impact business problems requiring senior judgment

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Materials Engineering, and Business, or equivalent experience
  • 15+ years in materials, packaging, partner ecosystems, or industrial technology environments - Advantage

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
