Senior Credit Analyst
Exempt: – Full-Time, Employee is expected to complete a minimum of 40 hours for the work week with flexible working hours as long as deadlines are met as expected.
Location: - Hybrid, Employee may work remotely at home as long as duties and responsibilities are met. Reporting to the Alpharetta, GA Â office and able to work out of this location.

The Senior Credit Analyst plays a key role in supporting safe, sound, and profitable commercial loan growth across United Trust Bank’s expanding footprint. This position partners closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Leadership to structure, underwrite, and monitor commercial credit relationships in alignment with UTB’s risk appetite, Credit Policy, and OCC regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive underwriting for C&I, CRE, SBA, ABL, and specialized lending products
- Analyze financial statements, global cash flow, DSCR, leverage, liquidity, and collateral coverage
- Prepare clear, regulator-ready credit approval packages and risk ratings
- Identify policy exceptions and recommend mitigation strategies
- Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and emerging risks
- Support stress testing, concentration analysis, and watch-list management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (Reg H, Reg O, HVCRE, legal lending limits, appraisal standards)
- Assist with internal/external loan reviews and OCC examinations
- Partner with lenders to structure sound, customer-focused credit solutions
- Support participation lending and strategic credit initiatives
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Must have prior banking experience (community or regional bank preferred)
- Strong knowledge of commercial underwriting and regulatory expectations
