Inventory Control Specialist

Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist will ensure proper inventory control of all material for all aspects of the Distribution Center.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 ·     Perform timely and accurate cycle counts and full physical inventories

·       Print and place new stock tags as needed

·       Enter all stock that has had a primary location movement

·       Perform bulk verification and make accurate entry into bulk locator

·       Pull all internal stock movements, whether to different area, stock transfer or destroy, document time on appropriate paperwork

·       Perform special counts as requested by leadership

·       Able to perform warehouse search for possible missing stock

 Qualification Requirements

 ·    Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and pivot as needed

·     Forklift certified

·      Able to prioritize multiple tasks, attention to detail

·      Good math skills

·      Ability to communicate and enforce PBD inventory processes and procedures

Education                                 Minimum High school diploma or equivalent

Experience                               1 year; Prior Inventory Control experience helpful

Skills                                         Basic Math skills

Knowledge of                           Microsoft Office, High Jump experience a plus

Special Requirements              Must be able to lift 50 pounds.  Certified forklift operator
