Job Summary

Responsible for all aspects of wardrobe inventory control, including shipping, receiving, and distribution of owned and rental uniform inventory. Performs wardrobe counter duties including assisting team members with uniform dry cleaning and/or rental orders, documenting requests, and handling complaints. May assist with garments alterations or repairs.

Job Description

CORE SCOPE OF POSITION

  • Effectively and efficiently assists guests with garments requests.
  • Assists with uniform dry cleaning and/or rental orders.
  • Documents requests and handles complaints.
  • Receives, sorts, stores, and distributes dry cleaned uniforms and rental program uniforms.
  • Takes accurate body measurements and communicates measurements to Seamstress for accurate alterations.
  • Maintains accurate and organized records and files as assigned.
  • Maintains inventory level by accurately tracking garments that are distributed and collected.
  • Participates in weekly cycle counts and researches all inventory variances.
  • Maintains inventory levels by accurately tracking uniforms that are distributed and collected and provides information to Wardrobe Manager.
  • Takes accurate body measurements and pulls uniform garments from wardrobe inventory and issues them for alterations or to team members.
  • Tags and/or marks garments as needed.
  • Provides top quality guest service.
  • Always greets the guest with a smile, works collaboratively with all Viejas Team Members to develop and maintain a positive relationship in delivering an unsurpassed experience at all times.
  • Responds to inquiries from managers, team members, and the public on a variety of questions, referring more complex questions to the appropriate resource.
  • When on the casino floor, assists guests.
  • Maintains knowledge of current marketing promotions and/or special events.
  • Assumes responsibility of related duties as required or assigned.
  • Communicates any operational or supply needs or quality concerns to departmental supervisor.
  • May assist with operating sewing machine and performing hand sewing to repair or alter garments.
  • Acts with discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive material.
  • Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
  • Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • High school diploma or General education degree (GED) required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Six or more months of related experience and/or training required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Very good interpersonal skills.
  • Very good organization skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer system and Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard sewing techniques and procedures.
  • Basic garment construction techniques.
  • Ability to operate sewing, cutting, and ironing equipment and tools helpful.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, multitask, and manage time.
  • Must be able to adhere to deadlines and respond to time-sensitive projects as needed.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to adjust to change.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment while demonstrating and maintaining good personal relations/people skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate company and team members’ needs.
