The community you鈥檒l be caring for:聽AdventHealth Altamonte
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs CT imaging procedures.聽 Perform X-Ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed.聽 Cross-train into MRI during downtime.聽 Maintains records of examinations performed.聽 Assists in Radiology Department as needed.聽 Where appropriate by licensure and cross training, may function as a Radiology technologist.聽 Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital-East Region Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs CT imaging procedures.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs X-Ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Cross-train into MRI during downtime.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains records of examinations performed.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs basic patient care with scope of practice and to departmental standards.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Where appropriate by licensure and cross training, may function as a Radiology technologist.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Positions patients and equipment, and selects technical factors to produce procedure images and data as needed to meet radiologist standards.聽
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Two years CT experience required.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be a graduate of an approved A.R.R.T. / Radiology Technology program.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Current A.R.R.T(CT) registration and certification
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Current State Certified Radiologic Technologist license upon hire
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 BLS required.聽
