TelevisaUnivision is looking for an assertive and passionate bilingual multi-media journalist. 聽We are looking for someone who is social media savvy, who has solid news judgement with the ability to think quickly responding appropriately to high pressure situations. 聽The quality that sets us apart is the connection we have with our community; candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, with dynamic live television skills.

YOUR DAY-DAY:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Generate stories with minimum direction
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Shooting and editing news stories
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Produce daily content on a variety of platforms
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop sources and contacts
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Contribute story ideas daily
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Setting up interviews and other appointments as needed for background on assigned stories
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Capable of reporting live from the field on breaking stories
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in station related events
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains close communication with news team, show producers and news director
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform additional duties as assigned
YOU HAVE:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 A bachelor鈥檚 degree in journalism
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 1-2 years of reporting experience
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be a strong live reporter
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must work well under time deadlines
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be willing to work early morning, morning, evenings, weekends and holidays
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong understanding of news gathering ethical and legal issues
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Genuine enthusiasm for work & a drive for excellence
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fluent in English and Spanish (read and write)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong reporting skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United Stated on a full-time basis
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to stand, walk, bend, type and sit for up to (8) hours
