The Purchasing Assistant - HVAC Retail is responsible for supporting the purchasing department in procuring HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies. This role involves tasks such as data entry, vendor management, and order processing to ensure efficient operations and cost-effective purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders and requisitions for HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies.

• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery dates.

• Research and identify potential suppliers.

• Negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers.

• Resolve purchase order discrepancies and issues.

• Responsible for inventory management and stock levels.

• Provide administrative support to the purchasing department.

• Maintain knowledge of HVAC industry and product trends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in purchasing or supply chain management preferred.

• ServiceTitan experience is required

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in computer software, including Excel, purchasing and inventory systems.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be a team player

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components preferred.
