Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $47.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
Â
The Invasive Cardiac/Vascular Specialist I provides technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures. Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional procedures, to include preparation and manipulation of catheters, guidewires and other devices. Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician. Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Â
Education:
- Graduate of AMA Approved School in Radiography
Â
Licensure/ Certification:
- Registered in Radiology by ARRT((R)
- Radiography License by Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
- BLS CPR through the American Heart Association. ACLS from the American Heart Association or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

- Associate degree in radiography

- 1-year specialized training
