Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance / Janitorial Technician to support daily facility cleanliness and assist with production-related material handling. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment and operating equipment to collect and bundle scrap materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of workspace
- Collect scrap materials from production areas in a timely manner
- Operate machinery and equipment to bundle and prepare scrap products for recycling or disposal
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working conditions
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Assist with basic tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn equipment used for bundling scrap materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Dependable with good attendance and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- Industrial/manufacturing setting
- Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
