About the Role:

As a Resident Assistant at The Classic at Hillcrest Greens, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as monitoring and documenting any changes in their health or behavior. Your compassionate and attentive care will help our residents maintain their independence and dignity. You will work closely with our nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care.

Openings: 

Casual RA: Minimum of 4 shifts a month (two shifts must be on a weekend) + pick up when you are available 

Part-Time RA: 8-24 hours a week

Full-Time RA: 32-40 hours a week


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
  • Valid certification as a nursing assistant or home health aide 
  • Additional training or certification in healthcare or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and document changes in residents' health or behavior
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents

Skills:

As a Resident Assistant, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with our residents and their families. Your attention to detail and ability to document changes in residents' health or behavior will be critical in ensuring that they receive the appropriate care. Your physical strength and ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds will be necessary for assisting residents with daily living activities. Your compassion and empathy will help you provide emotional support and companionship to our residents. Your ability to work collaboratively with our nursing staff and other healthcare professionals will ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care.
