The Classic at Hillcrest Greens is an Assisted Living community in Altoona, WI dedicated to providing our residents with exceptional care, comfort, and a warm dining experience. We're looking for a dependable, customer-service-focused Dining Assistant to join our kitchen and dining team.

About the Role

As our Dining Assistant/Chef Assistant, you'll play a key role in making breakfast and lunch service run smoothly for our residents. You'll help prepare and plate starters, take orders, deliver meals, and keep our dining room clean and welcoming.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and plate starters such as salads, fruit, and desserts
• Take residents' meal orders with a friendly, attentive approach
• Deliver food to residents in a timely manner
• Bus tables and clear dishes after meals
• Assist with breakfast and lunch service daily
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining and kitchen area
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff to ensure a positive dining experience for residents

What We're Looking For

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Prior kitchen or food service experience in a senior community is preferred
• Prior cooking experience is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills, especially when working with senior residents
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen/dining environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• A team player with a positive, caring attitude

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday (no scheduled weekends) 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, covering breakfast and lunch service (40 hours/week)
