Schedule: This is a Reserve/Flex position with shifts ranging from 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–4:00 AM, based on business needs.


OVERVIEW

Promotes and supports the physical security of assigned facilities, personnel, and designated company leadership. Maintains control of visitor reception and management for assigned location


RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

1.    Maintain thorough operation of the visitor management system with applicable policies, record entrance/exit of all visitors to the facility.  Works closely with the Security Operations Center.
2.    Facilitate the notification of employees when visitors arrive.
3.    Greet and conduct initial assessments of community members who present at the facility with a comment or complaint, then notify appropriate employee personnel for expeditious resolution of the issue.
4.     Conduct physical presence and security patrols of the facility on foot or in a vehicle.
5.    Make instantaneous well-reasoned decisions regarding the use of deadly force.
6.    Monitor surveillance tools; review video for verification of information and make follow-on phone calls regarding same.
7.    As directed, respond to internal and external facility incidents to de-escalate them, coordinate with emergency services personnel, and render aid, as appropriate.  
8.    When external guards are temporarily assigned to the facility, coordinate and communicate with them to ensure highest degree of physical security for the facility.
9.    Notify administrative services or other appropriate personnel of deliveries and receive said deliveries, as needed and directed.
10.    Maintain fresh beverage offering for guests and employees who utilize the facility lobby.
11.    Provide executive protection services for designated company leaders, including protective accompaniment, threat awareness, advance planning, and short-notice assignments. Travel as required to support executive protection activities, including air and ground transportation and occasional overnight stays.


QUALIFICATIONS

(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)


Education
• High School Diploma/GED required.

 

Experience
• Minimum 5 years prior law enforcement; or security-professional or other related experience, which required routine and extensive interaction with the public, required.

 

Licenses/Certifications- hold and maintain currency in- (other certifications as required by management post-hire)

• PA Act 235, or comparable state or Federal-level training course, which authorizes the individual to carry a firearm in the course of her/his security officer duties in the state in which those duties are performed, required
• Basic First Aid, required (must obtain within sixty days of employment)
• CPR/AED- Adult and Pediatric , required (must obtain within sixty days of employment)
• Handgun concealed carry permit for the state in which duties are performed, required (must obtain within sixty days of employment)
• Valid State-issued driver’s license, required
