Security Dispatcher

Shift: 11pm-7am

Days Off: Sunday/Monday

$19.50/hour          Get paid when you need it – daily, weekly or biweekly!

Never have a dull, boring day at work again when you join the security department at Prairie Meadows. As a dispatch team member, you will work behind the scenes to keep Iowa’s No. 1 entertainment destination running smoothly.  

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

• Answering all calls including employee communications, emergencies, service requests, and public inquires.
• Manage employee entrances and communicate with outside vendors upon arrival.
• Operating a variety of communication equipment including computer dispatch systems, radio consoles, telephones, and computer programs.
• Obtaining important information and dispatching and/or notifying appropriate staff members.   
• Performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and two or more years’ of full-time work experience.  Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to write routine reports and provide clear written copy at a minimum of 35 words per minute. Data entry and/or computer experience preferred.  Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. is required.
