2nd Shift Warehouse and Backup Driver (CDL A REQUIRED)

Responsibilities:

Approximately 45-50% warehouse duties:

• Fill and prepare orders for shipment and to inventory
• Receive parts and backorder parts
• Help manage bin and parts locations to verify inventory record
• Address any discrepancies in parts inventory
• Ensure workplace and warehouse are free of hazards
• Load and unload cargo, using forklifts
• Perform counter sales and answer phones as necessary
• Work collaboratively on a team

Approximately 50-55% backup driver duties:

• Maintain safe driver record
• Load, unload, and secure cargo
• Maintain necessary records and documentation

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent customer service skills
• 2+ years warehouse experience
• Class A CDL and experience driving tractor/trailer combinations – 48’ or 53’ trailers
• Basic computer skills
• Able to maintain clean and safe work environment
• Experience in diesel engine, heavy equipment, agriculture, or automotive a plus
• Personal characteristics: Dependable, Attention to Detail, Positive Attitude, Efficient, Team Player, and Problem Solver
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record
• This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a DOT drug screen and physical as pre-employment requirement

Minimum physical requirements:

• Push/pull up to 75 lbs

• Lift/carry up to 75 lbs

• Lift bulky objects

• Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching.

• Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be moderate at times.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $34.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
