About the Role:
Troon Electric of New Jersey LLC is looking for an Experienced Electrician to join our growing team in the New York, NY area. If you're a skilled electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and is ready to tackle exciting projects, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, local regulations, and safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members on job sites
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness and safety
Requirements:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred; valid NJ and/or NY electrical license a plus
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical regulations
- Experience with both residential and commercial electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety on every job site
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
