The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed critical access hospital in Alturas, CA, to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support care across outpatient, inpatient, swing bed, and skilled nursing settings, making a meaningful impact in a close-knit community.

Schedule: Full-Time |Part-Time | Per Diem opportunities available | Day Shift | On-site

What You’ll Do

  • Provide safe, effective care under the supervision of Physical Therapists
  • Support patient progress using evidence-based interventions
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams
  • Ensure compliance with PT practice standards, EMR use, and safety protocols
  • Foster a positive team culture through professionalism and initiative
  • Participate in training, program development, and team initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited PTA program
  • Active California PTA license
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • EMR proficiency and interest or experience in outpatient, acute, or SNF settings
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (Full-Time) - $2,500 at hire, $2,500 after 2 years
