Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Operations in Mulberry, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, authorization, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
