Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Enrollment in Polk City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a utilities location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, perimeter areas, and designated facility areas to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of access activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
