Job Summary
One You Love Homecare is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
As a caregiver, you'll help clients maintain their independence while providing companionship, personal care, and assistance with daily activities. If you're passionate about making a difference and enjoy building meaningful relationships, we'd love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities
- Ā Provide companionship and emotional supportĀ
- Ā Assist with personal care and activities of daily livingĀ
- Ā Prepare meals and assist with feeding when neededĀ
- Ā Help clients with mobility and safe transfersĀ
- Ā Perform light housekeeping and laundryĀ
- Ā Provide transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable)Ā
- Ā Offer medication remindersĀ
- Ā Observe and report changes in a client's conditionĀ
- Ā Follow individualized care plans and infection control proceduresĀ
- Ā Clock in/out electronically and complete required documentationĀ
Qualifications
- Ā Previous caregiving, home care, hospital, assisted living, or nursing home experience preferredĀ
- Ā HHA or CNA certification preferred (or applicable state certification)Ā
- Ā High school diploma or GED preferredĀ
- Ā Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance (if transporting clients)Ā
- Ā Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsĀ
- Ā Dependable, compassionate, and professionalĀ
- Ā Must be authorized to work in the United StatesĀ
Physical Requirements
- Ā Lift, push, or pull up to 25 poundsĀ
- Ā Assist clients with mobility and transfersĀ
- Ā Stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods as neededĀ
