Purchasing & Plant Administrator

Job Summary

This position is responsible for using material resource planning (MRP) tools to develop forecasting and scheduling plans for product line. Procurement and coordination of raw materials as well as evaluating new sources of supply are also key. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creates, maintains, and manages effective reporting and analysis of inventory usage, turn, delivery performance, and other inventory related reports.
• Responsible for scheduling manufacturing the procurement of purchase goods for resale.
• Conducts product and vender research.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

• Skilled with computer systems such as JDE, SAP, Microsoft software.
• Strong Negotiation skills.
