Primary Job Functions Run POS (point of sale) register Greeting customers upon entry of store Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner) Keep up with store promotions and special events Understanding store layout and location of products Cleaning and stocking impulse and endcap merchandise Following store procedures, opening and closing Answer telephone Secondary Job Functions: Help load merchandise for customers Help check in freight Organize point of purchase material, maintain bin tags, shelf labels, and peg hooks QualificationsQualifications: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred Ability to count change back Retail cashier experience is a plus Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus Professional telephone skills Knowledge of merchandise Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays Attention to detail, accuracy is key
