E.J. Reynolds Company is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Shop Helper to support daily operations in our machine shop. This entry‑level position is essential to ensuring high‑quality production flow, clean parts, and an organized workspace. Responsibilities
- Deburr, clean, and prepare machined parts to meet company and customer quality standards.
- Work closely with the Shop Supervisor, Machinists, Quality Control, and Shipping & Receiving throughout various stages of each job.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
- Assist with general shop tasks such as material handling, basic tool use, and light cleanup duties.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required—we will train the right candidate.
- Ability to use basic hand tools such as files, sanders, and deburring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and a team‑focused work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
