As a Security Guard - Full Time in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, serving as a welcoming first point of contact while helping support security-related procedures, visitor access, and clear communication. Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by welcoming visitors, verifying credentials, managing access procedures, and following site-specific policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor the front desk area, answer questions, direct guests and/or vendors to appropriate personnel, and document visitor activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Support daily security-related operations by monitoring entry points, reviewing badges and/or identification, maintaining required logs, and reporting concerns to Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
