Job Description:

SUMMARY:

The team member is responsible for picking up and delivering parts, supplies, and mail to various areas of the plant as needed. This position supports the receiving building by receiving, sending, storing, and delivering inventory and supplies to processing and slaughter areas. Responsibilities also include completing required shipping forms, operating a forklift, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience or Knowledge: Knowledge of receiving-building inventory processes, including receiving, sending, and handling inventory, is required.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and management.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry boxes weighing 20–60 lbs.

Other: Must have a current driver’s license.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Not applicable.

Travel: Daily local trips into town to pick up supplies.

Shift: A-Shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Priority consideration will be given to applicants at this facility, as well as priority for internal candidates impacted due to plant closure or job elimination.
