Program: Amarillo, Texas – Children’s Behavioral Health

Salary range: $57,033.60 - $60,652.80 Annually

As a non-profit, TPC provides a wide range of services from mental health and substance use support to intellectual and developmental disability care, empowering clients of all ages to achieve dignity and independence. With seven service centers located throughout the region, our staff work together with our clients to achieve our mission to create an accessible system of care that supports individual choice and truly make a difference. Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • Serves as Clinician for Child and Adolescent Program and responsible for providing CBT counseling for individuals who qualify for those services in compliance with HHSC requirements
  • Other duties as needed of the Associate Psychologist include intake assessments, crisis intervention, and case management services
  • Services can be provided in the home, school, community, and office with flexible hours to accommodate the client's schedule
  • Requirements will include traveling in regional areas as needed.
  • The Associate Psychologist must complete a CBT training as required and indicated by HHSC
  • Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised

Required qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • Master's degree from an accredited university with a major in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or other related human services field
  • Qualify as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) and in good standing in the state of Texas
  • Active license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist

  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy  
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
