The Deli Clerk prepares and maintains deli food offerings during assigned work hours. The deli clerk maintains appropriate health department standards, cleanliness and food temperatures.
The deli clerk endeavors to make every guest visit a pleasant, fast, enjoyable experience. The deli clerk serves guests in a polite, courteous, and professional manner. The deli clerk assists the store management team in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the location. Occasionally, deli clerks are also cross trained as a GSR.
Experience/Skills/Requirements:

Prior experience as a TNT GSR experience in a retail cashier position
Prior employment experience in a commercial kitchen or working in a fast food restaurant
Ability to read, follow and carry out written instructions to prepare deli products and maintain health department requirements
Must be 16 years of age or older
Must be able to work days including weekends and holidays, as required for assigned shift/store
Must be prepared and willing to work alone
Must be able to multi-task
Must have reliable transportation
Must maintain reliable telephone service and be able to return telephone calls in a timely manner
If cross-trained as a GSR:
Must be willing to legally sell age restricted products such as alcoholic beverages, tobacco and lottery tickets
Must successfully pass TABC certification and recertify every two years
