The CRNFA practices in collaboration with and at the direction of the surgeon during the intra-operative phase of the perioperative experience.

Job Requirements:

• Previous acute care or perioperative experience required
• 2000 hours of experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BSN
• Current License as RN in the State of Texas
• ACLS required
• Current CNOR and certificate of completion of First Assistant Course or CRNFA through NationalAsssistant at Surgery Certification
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
