Join a Growing, Therapist-Owned Pelvic Health Team

Optimal Physical Therapy is seeking two full-time Pelvic Health Physical Therapists to join one of the most established pelvic rehabilitation programs in the Texas Panhandle. Our team of pelvic health specialists brings more than 30 years of combined clinical experience and is passionate about providing exceptional, evidence-based care while mentoring the next generation of pelvic health therapists.

What You'll Do

You'll evaluate and treat patients with a wide variety of pelvic health conditions, including:

  • Pregnancy and postpartum musculoskeletal conditions
  • Pelvic pain
  • Urinary and bowel dysfunction
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Male pelvic health conditions
  • Chronic pelvic pain
  • Hip and pelvic girdle dysfunction
  • Post-surgical pelvic rehabilitation

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Texas Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred

  • One or more years of pelvic health clinical experience
  • Completion of Pelvic Floor Level I and II coursework through APTA Academy of Pelvic Health, Herman & Wallace, or equivalent
  • New graduates with Level I pelvic health training and a clinical internship in pelvic rehabilitation are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in orthopedic manual therapy, sports medicine, pregnancy/postpartum care, and treatment of hip and pelvic girdle dysfunction is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Requires high-level visual and auditory acuity for participating in and monitoring patient care activities.  Ability to move frequently throughout the Facility; ability to walk or stand at least 5 hours a day; occasional overhead and low reaching, demonstrates ability to lift and/or carry over 40 pounds on a regular basis; ability to push/pull over 50 pounds on a regular basis;  and ability to sit for long periods.
