Responsibilities

  • The Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
  • This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to patient care, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • The Radiology Technician works closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment to deliver high-quality imaging service.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:  

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R) certification.

  • MRT License from Texas Medical Board.

  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:  

  • 1 year of experience in a hospital or acute care setting.

  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
